2007 Mike Nesi Awards Presented As part of the 2007 Event, two volunteers were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of FHNB. Bob Ruff a long time advisory board member and Dick Unger, the park naturalist at Cowan Lake State Park were the two recipients of this year's award, which is named after one of the original founders of the Cincinnati chapter who has since passed away. Congratulations to Bob and Dick for their outstanding service.

2007 Cowan Lake Event a Success! June 2-3 2007 were the dates for another successful Fishing Event at Cowan Lake. The weather cooperated this year and brightened everyone's spirit at our 12th Annual FHNB Fishing Event held at Cowan Lake State Park. More than 130 participants, their companions, and 60 volunteers took part in the two day event. At the end of each day medals were presented to each participant and prizes were awarded for the raffles that were held as part of the event.

Of course there was plenty of good food, fun, and the fish did cooperate!! Nice bass, crappies, and other panfish were caught and released by both the participants on shore and those who went out in the many boats which were present.
